In 2007, the West Virginia Young Democrats established several constituency caucuses in order to attract new activists to the Democratic Party. Many young people have few ties to partisan politics; however, they are often motivated by specific policy issues that are important to them. Through our newly established caucuses, WVYD is working to educate the next generation of West Virginians about the values of the Democratic Party.
